Being a South African Born And Based Solutions Provider, we can directly identify with our client. We have seen, and first hand witnessed industry suppliers utilizing the dire situation of load-shedding to only benefit themselves.
The fact that the client needs to lay out large amounts of capital to attempt to restore his/her quality of life gets pushed aside, forgotten or just plainly ignored. Should a client be “lucky” enough to get hold of an “Energy Expert” aka “Salesman” they could make it to become part of this process of pushing numbers and getting boxes flowing out of the warehouse doors. This same “uneducated” client then ends up getting sold a box or “Package Deal” without anyone having spent the required time to assess the requirement and tailor a solution that would be in line with the mostly already tight budgets of such clients and at the same time maximise the return on his/her investment.
